What we read

We read editorial corrections, source-citation issues, and inquiries about the content of this manual. If you find a citation error, a stale URL, a misquoted statistic, or a regulatory development that updates one of the pages, please let us know. We periodically refresh the manual as the underlying literature and regulatory framework evolve — the 2025 ACOG Committee Statement No. 20 and the 2025 ICSM HSDD recommendations are recent examples of the kind of update we incorporate when published.

What we do not read

We do not handle medical questions about bremelanotide or HSDD. We are not clinicians and cannot offer medical advice, evaluation, dosing guidance, or any kind of clinical recommendation. Questions of that kind belong to a state-licensed clinician — most commonly an OB/GYN, a sexual medicine specialist, a family medicine physician, or an internal medicine physician — who can perform a synchronous video evaluation in your state.

We do not handle prescription requests. We do not write prescriptions. We do not connect you with a clinician or platform. We do not sell, ship, or refer for any product. We do not handle complaints about specific telehealth platforms or compounded-preparation vendors — those belong to your state medical board, the state pharmacy board, or the FDA's MedWatch reporting program.
